The study material consisted of data obtained from face-to-face surveys conducted with 435 consumers selected using a random sampling method. The data were analyzed using SPSS software; descriptive statistics, Chi-Square independence test, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and Duncan test were applied. According to the findings, statistically significant relationships were found between income groups and the share of chicken meat in monthly food expenditures, as well as perceptions of chicken meat prices (P<0.05).
